Compiling an add-on

Postby gatechfan » Sat Nov 22, 2008 9:05 am

Hey,

I am trying to compile an add-on using Visual Studio 2005. When creating a new project, I do not see the option for project type of "Tecplot 360 Add-on Wizard". How do I create it or get around that?

In Visual Studio 5 or 6, there is a solution that I found in the Addon Developer Kit Getting Result, but I can't find anything for Visual studio 2005 or 2008.

Thank you.
Sincerely,

Varun

Ben

There is no version of the wizard for VS2005. Instead, look at the sample projects in %TEC_360_2008%\adk\vs2005samples, and use one of those projects to start with.

Thank you. That helped out.
