Numpy and Tecplot 2011 R2

Tecplot's automation language

Python scripts were supported in the alpha version for Legacy 360 (2013). Python inquiries in 2017 should be directed to the PyTecplot Forum.

Numpy and Tecplot 2011 R2

Postby Dave442 » Tue Aug 14, 2012 4:16 am

Hi all,

I am trying to learn how to write and run Python scripts in Tecplot 360 and I would like to install Numpy. According to the Tecplot user manual I must install Numpy relative to the Tecplot installation directory. I am unsure about which version of Numpy to install and where exactly to install it. I am using Tecplot 2011 R2 and my operating system is 64-bit Windows XP SP2. If anyone has any advise on which version of Numpy to install and where exactly to install it I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
Dave
