Is it possible to have Greek letters in subscript?

Postby xinmude » Sat Mar 26, 2011 10:17 am

Hello:

I know that preceding a letter with an underline (_) produces a subscript. For instance, S_a, produces "a" as a subscript in smaller font immediately following "S".

Now I want that subscript to be the Greek letter, omega (`w, in Tecplot language). How do I make this work? Is it possible?

Thank you!

Newer versions of Tecplot use HTML-like tags to specify special characters:
<greek>o</greek>

The special characters are listed in a table in the user's manual of online help.
