Extract execution time from output file and plot it as dynamic text

Postby mariclaydson » Thu May 03, 2018 11:21 am

Hello Guys, I have a problem and would appreciate any help.

I calculate my simulation time in the program I am developing. And the time inside the program is not the same as real world time or computer clock time. Than for each output file i write this "extime" variable that tell me the time in that particular output. I would like to know if it is possible to take that variable "extime", or take its minimun or maximum (considering these are the same values) and plot it as a dynamic text in my frame.

Attached you will find the pictures I took from my output file and the variable in tecplot. I changed the variable name in tecplot so in the file you're gonna see that the variable name is actually "time".

That is what I want to do. Show my "extime" variable as a dynamic text on my frame.

Thanks a lot.
