Face Neighbour Problem

Postby konstantin » Thu Apr 02, 2015 6:36 am

Hi,
I have recently implemented face connections in a IJK-Ordered cell-centered dataformat. I used the FaceNeighbor mode GlobalOneToMany.
It runned smoothly under Windows 7, Tecplot 360 2011/2013/2015. but when I run it under OpenSuse (Linux 3.11.10.25), Tecplot 360 2013R1 and open the .plt files it generates a "Corrupt Input File" error. The error apears only if I have connections from type "one cell connected to two or more" (cz, fz, oz, nz, ZZ1, CZ1, ZZ2, CZ2..).

It's a bug from Tecplot or I set the configuration wrong? because when I run it under Windows 7 Tecplot 2013R1 or 2015 and change in Visual Studio the Folder from "Properties->Output Directory", it gives the same error. Is there a method to convert from Binary in Ascii?

I solved the problem. I was using TECINI111,TECDAT111.... Under Windows Tecplot converts 111 automatically (in the binary file) to 112. Under Linux not. So I switched to TECINI112...

Glad to hear you were able to solve it and thanks for posting the solution. I have moved this to the TecIO forum as it is not a bug.
