Finally I was able to load a finite-element-data type and some scattered data points (moving particles) into a single frame. Now I am trying to animate the moving particles while keeping the fist zone active (being displayed throughout animations). This is important because the first zone gives me the information on the geometry and the flow field. Of course I can write out the geometry and the steady-state flow field onto all the output files, but I tend to minimize the size of each output file (it is redundant to write the same geometry and steady-state solution to each subsequent output file, makes sense?). Now is there a was that I can animate lets say zones 2-20 while keeping zone 1 active during animations?
