Dear tecplot users,
I am currently working on my Bachelorthesis about the Particle Tracking Velocimetry at the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany).
My Thesis is about the animation of followed particles trajectories and therefor I would like to use tecplot.
Since I don't have any experience with tecplot, I tired to work on the animation on my own during the last couple of days.
As an exercise I created a txt-file with the values of the X-, Y- and Z function of a spiral spring. So now I know how to plot the whole spring itself, but I can't find a way to animate it step by step.
Here is an excerpt of the txt file for you to see how it is structured:
t x y z=t
0 1 0 0
0.01 0.99820054 0.059964006 0.01
0.02 0.992808636 0.119712207 0.02
0.03 0.983843693 0.179029573 0.03
0.04 0.971337975 0.237702626 0.04
0.05 0.955336489 0.295520207 0.05
So my question to you now, is there a way to create an animation which contains t=0 in the first frame; t=0+t=0.01 in the second and t=0+t=0.01+t=0.02 in the third, etc.?
It should look alike the spring is getting built up step by step.
Thankful of any answer
