Solutiontime problem

Postby Tec » Wed Mar 09, 2016 5:25 am

Hi,

this is my first time using Tecplot macros.
If want simple create a macro for reading the solution time and allocate to zones. But in the loop one problem pursues me in sleep.
I create a variable who symbolize the zone:

$!VarSet |n| = 1

Now set the global time:

$!GLOBALTIME SOLUTIONTIME = |SOLUTIONTIME[|n|]|

But this doesn't work. It still works without the variable:

e.g.: $!GLOBALTIME SOLUTIONTIME = |SOLUTIONTIME[1]|

What's the difference between "|n|" and "1"?

I would be obliged if someone help.
