Fortran output binary .dat file for animation

Postby love_yi » Sun May 06, 2018 4:04 pm

Hi everyone:

I am a fresher of the tecplot user, Now I have some problems for the binary format for animation. How can I output all the zones in the one file and then check the animation with tecplot. It seems that I need output all the zone headers and then output all the data of each zone. However, I need to check my results during the simulation, so I want write the zone one by one. Can I output the one zone header and its data, then the next zone header and its data. What's the format like this?

Anyone output the data like this. It is easy for the ASCII format, as the result file is large. I want to output it with binary format.
